The JCE results provide insights into learners’ performance in different subjects and can be used to identify areas of strength and weakness in the education system.
While the JCE examination has been criticized for being too focused on rote learning and memorization, the BEC has taken steps to improve the quality and integrity of the examination. This includes the introduction of new assessment criteria, implementing new technology to streamline the examination process, and using more authentic forms of assessment.
