NESA Results 2023 @www.nesa.gov.rw Check Online Announcement. Students can check all levels P6, S3, S6 (GE) TVET, TTC, and Rwanda national examinations.

The National Examination and School Inspection Authority (NESA) is a government institution established in 2020. One of the main objectives of NESA is to prepare, conduct and mark national examinations; to publish national examination results.

In general, the Minister of State in charge of Primary and Secondary Education published the Rwanda national examination results.

Last year The Ministry of Education announced the results of national examinations for secondary schools on Thursday, December 15, 2022. The NESA is responsible for the following national examinations:

  • 1) Primary Leaving Examination “PLE”;
  • 2) Ordinary Level National Examinations;
  • 3) Advanced Level National Examinations for General, Professional and
  • 4) Technical and Education and training.
  • 5) Vocational Education and training.

The NESA publishes both national examination results and students’ placements. Publication of national examination results and students’ placements is done through the electronic platform approved by NESA.

The student placement only concerns successful candidates of the Primary Leaving Examination (P6) and Ordinary Level National Examination (S3) Guiding criteria for students’ placement: Student performance; Student choices; Available places in schools;

To place two or several candidates with equal aggregates and who made the same school choice, the raw marks shall be taken into consideration A Student who did their education in a foreign country shall be placed by NESA based on his/her equivalent certificates.

How to check NESA Results 2023 Online?

There are two ways of checking the national exam results including (i) the use of the link available at the NESA’s Website in the category of exam results and (ii) the use of a Short Message Service (SMS). The following steps will help you to check your NESA result 2023 online.

  3. Now enter your Registration No:

On Mobile Phone, one can go to SMS and write the index number, and ID number and then send it to 8888.

  • Open the mobile default message app.
  • Write Sending Number 8888
  • Write SMS content [INDEX No] [SPACE] [ID Number]
  • Finally, tap send button.

NESA Results Certification

A successful candidate in National Examinations is awarded a certificate, The Primary School Leaving Certificate and Ordinary Level Certificate of Education; which are prepared by NESA after the publication of national examination results.

NESA issues guidelines on how to collect Primary School Leaving Certificates and Ordinary Level Certificates of Education.

Certificates for successful school candidates of Advanced Level National Examinations for General, Professional Technical and Vocational Education and training are processed by NESA and submitted to schools for distribution to graduates,

Private candidates collect their certificates from NESA head office, the graduate may delegate someone to collect the certificate on his/her behalf. The delegated person shall present his/her personal ID card and notarized power of attorney,

Certificates are issued to graduates at least within six (6) months after the publication of national examination results.

What if you are not satisfied with the NESA Results 2023?

o All appeals shall be channelled through the candidate’s school where the candidate registered for the national examination.

o The Headteacher collects all submitted appeals, conducts a thorough analysis of each case and then submits all the appeals with valid justifications to NESA through an online appeal system within SDMS.

o A private candidate who is not satisfied with national exam results may directly submit her/his appeal through SDMS.

o Upon receipt of the appeal and only after the reasons for the appeal have been qualified as convincing, NESA appoints a re-checking or remarking team.

The successful candidate in national examinations who is not satisfied with the placement results has the right to appeal.
